How long did you actually waited after you place the order for your Protege?

Three and a half months to get the last yellow Protege 5 in Nova Scotia. Ordered in July, it arrived in October. It was a long wait, but it was worth it!

Test drove a blue one, came back about three hours later and bought a red one on the lot. We wanted to replace our last car ASAP, so I didn't bother trying to convince my wife we should've waited on the 5-speed.

No wait. Went to the dealership and they had one red, 3 silver one blue and 3 white. All of them were automatic except for two of the white ones. Got a white one with a five speed.

No wait at all

I had been looking at cars for several months. When I finally decided I went down to the dealer, picked out the color and options and drove off two hours later. Gunther Mazda down here in Ft. Lauderdale, FL had what looked like a hundred or so of the MP5 cars out there. A couple of Yellow and Red models on the lot too.

Went to the dealer - I used to work there. Drove the exact model I wanted, color, options, everything, and bought it 3 days later - as soon as my financing came through. The only waiting I did was the making up my mind as to buy a new car or not.

Right now I am happy with it, but then again my first payment hasn't been due just yet...
