Holy ***** man!!! That's a lot of money. That'll be more than my car payments on a brand new p5 over 60 months w/ some down payment of course. Where you located?

Just p/u new P5, I thought I was being "taken to the cleaners" at $1068 year!! Zero deduc. on comp. $500,000 liability. I have State Farm. Checked with AAA yesterday and they quoted $2200.00(with $250 deductable) I'm over 50 w/ clean record and a Corvette insured (which is cheaper than the P5)

I got my 2002.5 Sunlight Silver Pro ES about 2 months ago. I put it on my dad's insurance policy. We pay about $1400 per year for 4 cars.
My 2002.5 Pro ES, my mom's 2000 Pro ES, my sister's '98 Nissan Maxima, and my dad's '88 Cadillac Fleetwood D'Elegance. Quite cheap I would say, considering all cars but the Caddy are fully covered. State Farm Insurance here.

Edit: Oh yeah, I'm 17 years old.

That's cheap! What state are you in? Perhaps Alaska

Perhaps not. I am in the South Bay Area in California. Some might call it Silicon Valley...

My father has spent many hours with his insurance agent though. That might explain why I'm listed as a "excellent" student, married with two children, rarely driving, law-abiding citizen

Well here in Iceland they don't care about the persons age or driving record. So Im paying $487 full coverage/6 months.

I'm in TX and have a Jetta listed as primary car and my P5 is a recreational vehicle and my wife and I are both on the policy. I haven't had a ticket or wreck in over 10 years (knock on wood) and my P5 runs about $850/year. COnsidering I was paying like $480 for my last car I thought this was really pretty high.
