"hold" button?

"hold" button?

i have a 94 protege that the "hold" button is flashing and the car hesitates from a starting position.
please someone HELP.....!!

you need to see a transmission shop. That is the cars way of telling you there is a transmission failure. It could be anything. Way too much to diagnose properly over the net.
