hi, just installed my AEM short ram intake and took it out for a spin. loved the growl after 3000RPM!

but after i pulled into the garage and turned off the car, it made a hissing noise for about 6 seconds after i shut the engine off!?

is that normal? is it something that i just never noticed? or did i install the intake wrong?

i've never mod'ed my car before - i don't even know how to change oil on my car, so i;m a little paranoid.

Same thing happens to my MP3 after I installed the new cone filter. I have no clue either.

 

its normal man its just the vacumn still sucking after the engien is turned off hit the gas when you hear that make a loud suck noise
