who cares what color, your going to have an MSP!!!! j/k i would try and get the one they made less of. that is if the color does not matter to you. like i have a yellow mp3 and i have only seen one other yellow one ever but i have seen maybe 7 or 8 Blue ones. so i feel good knowing that they are not like civics or corolas. dont paint it that will mess it up!!

I would get orange. But, you could also wait till the 2003.5 is released. They will come in 2 new colors. Titanium gray and yellow I think.

ooh, titanium gray...
orange is cool, but with only two colors out right now, ur bound to run into another orange sooner or later. the black would look like a regular pro.

i guess what i'm trying to say is get whatever color for now, and when everyone and their next door neighbor has the same color, paint it.

I thought I wouldn't like the Spicy Orange by the pics, but then I saw it in person and I drooled

Another interesting thing...
the other day I saw a yellow MP3 heading the other way... then there was a blue MP3 in my direction!!! I tried to get up next to him and give a thumbs up but I think he was talking to his g/f or something.. I had to pay attention to traffic too

yeah same thing happened here. the pics kinda turned me off, then i went into the showroom and i was hooked on the orange. the lighting makes all the difference. even outside that color looked sexy. i got to test drive the orange for like 15-20 min(seemed like 2 seconds) and i was getting looks and smiles from ppl. i don't think i would get that with the black. i certainly don't get that with my rolla. i get looks in my rolla cuz my subs, not the car.

serious... i donno now its a battle between the yellow and orange. the only problem with the cool colors is that they are cop magnets. and my insurance would be all whack and crazy. the titanium gray would make it look like just another protege. i saw like 2 proteges in titanium gray at the dealer, one in the showroom one on the lot. and i saw like 5 M6s in the titanium.

here in hawaii, i was one of the first to get a yellow p5. the cops looked (as did everyone else) but i was more or less a legal eagle (except my sounds) so they left me alone.

the best part of having cool colors is:
-ppl notice u in traffic, minimizing the accident causing "lane drift"
-u can always find ur car in crowded parking lots
-girls

my advice as a detailer, don't get black. it is too hard to keep clean. you will see every little scratch, swirl, door ding, everything!! you either have to wash it everyday, or never wash it. and you'd also have to park it in the boonies so you wouldn't get any door dings(why can't people learn how to open car doors?) just my two cents

The Choice

I have seen the Spicy orange and Black first hand they both look really great. But If it was my choice I would be waiting for the Titanium. That motha looks good But I am not crazy about the new front end and wing. So choose which one you would not get bored with a year from now. See ya.

Why the f**k DOES Mazda put out the specialty Proteges (MP3, Mazdaspeed) in annoying colors like orange and yellow? What's wrong with normal motherf***ing colors??!! They make you wait for the gray on the MSP!!!
