I'm telling you... dogs have a need for speed... they're natural born racers. Given enough space, any dog I have ever seen will turn on the jets and tear off, just to see how fricken fast they can go. If I leave the labs out in the back yard and ignore them for more than 10 minutes, they're soon racing each other around in circles, just to see whose faster. It's actually pretty awesome to watch, considering my oldest dog, Luna, actually leans into the corner at about 20 degrees from vertical. I wish my Pro5 cornered like that. I'll have to see if I can get some pictures of it that aren't blurred.

Cool

Anyone who likes to open thier windows a crack (as I do) for fresh air should invest in Vent Visors. I have them on my '99 LX-Touring and I think they are great...even in the rain! I don't have to turn on the A/C in the rain to keep the windows from fogging. This could help your wind buffeting problems.
As for the dog out the window, it's supposedly isn't good for a dog to stick it's head out the window at highway speed. The air pressure that can build up in thier nasal passages can do damage, talk to your/a vet. Besides, right before I pass you I don't need a big sloppy gubber hitting my widshield! B)

While these are available for the Protege5, I HATE the stick on VentVisors - they look like such crap on most cars, IMO - some trucks look okay, but I don't see them too often looking nice, and I hate the idea of using sticky tape on my car.

Better bet is to wait for the WeatherTech WeatherFlectors - these are the ones that snap into the window channel - VERY nice. You can get fronts for the P5 (same as the sedan) right now, and the full four door set should be available any day now - they expect by the beginning of May.

BTW - I saw a Subaru (older) with the sweetest VentVisor ever - it was all one piece, for both doors on one side - just came up the windshiled pillar and went all the way back over both windows - very cool.
