I have just been washing our Sports and have noticed that the boot(trunk) panel that fits to the inside of the car to hide the wiring has not been fitted. Is yours fitted. It is the plastic panel that fits to the rear of the trunk directly behind were the rear number plate is fitted in place. I spoke to the dealer about it and he said it was impossible for Mazda not to have fitted it.And that it would not have got through quality control or pre delivery unnoticed. I went down and checked a few at different dealers and none of them are fitted. I think Mazda stuffed up. Do the MP3s or sedans have them?.

 

Do you mean this black cover (box shaped) that is above the trunk pin that locks the trunk?

Then yes I have a cover. I will try to take a picture of it and post it here.
