so i had this idea.... i take my injen cai, add some more custom pipeing, and put on a front mount filter(like an intercooler). and run nx's n-tercooler to it.. freeze the air and filter as it flows to the TB. would this actually work? if so, it would safer than the wet kit wouldnt it? and even if it was just the filter, wouldnt i get some of the coldest air possible, being in the front of the car -also kinda ramming in air as you speed up? i think im gonna drop 100 on the filter and see... if it doesnt work, i can always sell it.

I recall back in my Honduh days companies were selling these retarded front mounted intakes, looked like knockoff intercoolers. The filters get HAMMERED with **** when you drive, and are destroyed as far as ability to suck up air is concered. They fixed this problem by creating a plexiglass cover for the filter, which negated it being in the front of the car...

durr.

if you make yourself a custom grill out of that aluminum grating the holes are a lot smaller than the stock grill, should cut down on stuff hitting it

If you were to pull it thru where it goes and either cut back and add on a angled opening or similar you will get the same effect.
