I finally got a P5. I had a 1999 Protege LX, and after much discussion, my wife and I went for the P5. Should have been a no brainer. We got a silver 5 speed with ABS and a moonroof. Haven't done anything to it yet, but future mods include:

Painting the calipers
Tint all around
Replacing regular vaccumm hoses with colored hoses(will post pics when) done
Injen CAI

When I had the 99 pro', I had no idea there was such a following.
Can't believe how many sites there are dedicated to this wonderful car!! To all the webmasters out there -- Keep up the good work!!

Congrats on the new Pro5! I have a 99 LX, and would love to trade in for a Protege5, but I'm upside down on my loan about 2-3K. If only the Pro5 was out back in 99...
