Question Is this a good deal for Protege LX?

Currently, I own a 99' Protege LX which just went out of warrenty.
Due to that, I am thinking about trade in my old one and get a new 2002 Protege LX.

Here is the offer from the dealer
0% interest for 60 months, $280 monthly payment
50000 mile or 3 years warrenty which come the first
and with the following benefit:

Service Discount Checkbook (120000 miles) [value $750]
3 day (100 miles) exchange privilege (for vehicle of equal to or greater value)
$500 extra for your trade [value $500]
loaner vehicle (if we don't fix your vehicle right the 1st time) [value $80]
free oil changes (first year) [value $75]
tire blowout reimbursement (2 years) [value $200]
emergency lockout reimbursement (2 years) [value $50]
emergency roadside assistance reimbursement (2 years) [value $200]
trip interruption reimbursement (2 years) [value $300]
free car wash (for as long as you own the vehicle)
towing reimbursement [value $50]
travel, rental car, hotel discount coupons [value $1500]
trip mapping
*all of the above are the advantage package they offer as one at around $4000 if I get this car.

And, they also offer free tire replacement when my tires wear out in the future

Please let me know if I am getting a good deal out of this?
Payment 280 per month *60month =16800 total
how ever, by getting this car may insurance will go about 60 more than what I have now.
Is this whole deal a good deal to buy?

Please let me know what you think.
Thank you VERY MUCH

Question trade in value

by the way, the trade in value they offer is 6500 and I have about 6350 to payoff.

Does this help???

Thank you again

is it normal to have a car have 500 miles on it (in dealer's lot) which you are thinking to buy?

it's a lot of miles for a car in the lot, isn't it?

btw, my 99 one just done a major tune up but something doesn't sound right. That't why I am thinking of 2002 one.

Thanks

is it always have mileage on it when you trying to get a new car?

I though there should be no miles on it except testing mileage from the manufactury or something like that...

thanks

I don't know what's wrong with my 99 now.
I did a major tune up about 2 weeks ago for the 50000 service
after that, I start hearing some noise from the car. it sounds like something is trying to spin but I have no idea what is that.
So, I dropped my car at a dealship and tell them to check it up for me. What they told me was the tire rotation they've done. SO, they swap back my tires to the original place.

I've been driving two days after that service but I still hear that noise.

I don't know what's going on. Do you know why?

Thank you very much

that noise has been bothing me because of that I kind of start looking for a new model.

I just don't want to drop my car for service ALL THE TIME just right after the major tune up service...

btw, the car I own was used when I bought it around 27000 miles

thanks

Do whatever you feel is right - you do seem to be getting a decent deal though - decent, but not fantastic.

Also know that the "loaner car" issue is covered in your warranty - there is no "if we don't fix it right the first time" clause. Any time your Mazda is in for warranty service, you get a loaner car for free - regardless of how many times the fix has been tried.

You get roadside assistance and towing to a dealership in your warrenty along with the free loaner car. The roadside assistance will also be able to get you in your car if you lock yourself out. So those 4 things have $0 value with that advantage package because you get it with the standard warrenty.

$4000 for that package to me seems like a rip off.

500 miles is alot for a new car, mine had 30 and i thought that was too much. my last new car had 5 miles on the meter.

for about the same price u can get an es, its got better brakes, wheels, and tires. try a different dealer or go online

but if I buy it from cardirect, I lost the benefit for what I have listed.

Then, that won't be a good choice,right?

but my car just went out of warrenty so I don't think they are going to followup with the clause, right?

Why, as you have a very reliable car that you barely owe anything on...why start over if you're happy with what you've got.

Being out of warranty, at least now, with a clear conscience, you can mod the drivetrain up and not worry about voiding anything.

If you were going to buy a new one though, why not get an ES as opposed to a LX?
yeah, but I still got 2 and half years need to pay off my 99 mazda right now.
so, I was thinking if I get a new one for paying 2 and half years more, I would be cover with the warrenty. In that case, I don't have to worry to much about broken parts, etc.

Am I thinking in the right way?

Thanks
