I might be down if they're not quite tinted as dark as the picture and are more of a grey color. What's the price going to be (didn't see it in the posts)

I hope the projectors will be blacked out a little bit. To match cars that have their tailights and corner lights blacked out.

On second thought, I suppose we could always go and get that done after we get the lamps. That way the tints on the tailights and corner lens match up to the headlamps.

Isn't this long-a$$ thread proof enough that there is demand for these things? If you don't get a response from APC, have you considered shopping it around to Matrix and some of the other companies that do custom lights?

it's surprising that a company hasn't made a set considering the number of different style taillights that are available for the protege. no company has picked up on it but hopefully one eventually will. APC is a good company to contact as they take note of the number of requests for a certain product. And any other places you know feel free to hit them up.

Id like to know if it will still be possible to get inside the headlight housing of these projector lamps and install LEDs? Im looking to make the inside of the headlamp illuminate green. Id also like to know if it would be easy to make the halo light a Xenon green instead of the "Hyper White". That way, when the headlights are on people see green and when the lights/car is turned off, they see the green light illuminating inside the housing. Something along the lines of "Crusin Lights" if anyone knows what I am talking about.

Thats something to think about. With the Crusin Lights on the market now, they won't work if the projector lamps come out. The ones I have now are made to slip over the headlamp bulb itself and then be wired to a 12v source. But if these new lamps come out, different Crusin lights will have to be made.

Anyone have any idea as to how to get the "halo" in the headlamp green?

not to rain on this or anything but isn't APC the company who got their asses sued off for selling cheap tailights that don't mean DOT requirements??

projector lamps look cool but out of the 125+ people who have "signed up" I bet less than 1/3 actually front up and pay for anything. not trying to be negative...just a realist.

you're being very realistic. and some on the list don't even own proteges anymore. APC did get sued and paid a fine of around half a mil for making non-compliant DOT products. Fortunately APC is not the only company that makes projectors. With a company making projector headlights for an Infiniti I30 you'd think it's just a matter of time until we see a set for the protege, go figure.
