I've noticed that a few shops are not considering engine parts for this car because they think the cars share engines with the Focus.... When you contact new shops, clear this up for them.

Gude, was the latest one.

IE. I emailed gude(bullfrog) and asked about cams. They said they have them available and sent me info on the zx2/focus cams.
Hence, "I noticed" they thought they shared the same engine. :-)

I would bet that this a trend that is way too common, as it has happened to me a couple of times previously (with iceman)

I just got off the phone with them and it's going to cost over $500 for a custom set. Ouch. That's a little steep for me. If anyone is interested in paying this for cams, let me know and I'll give you his phone number.

He said he only wants to do one set to begin with, to get the results from the cams.

My Girlfriend's Mazda saleslady thought the P5 shared it's 2.0 liter with the Focus. I had to inform her that it shared the 626 2.0 instead.
