I was wondering if the front bumper cover is the same for the mazdaspeed, mp3, and protege5. I have a protege5 and I recently cracked the front end, so I need to replace it, and I was wondering if I could substitute and mp3 or msp cover for the p5 since they seem to be a little more common.

 

you actually have that backwards. it's much harder to find a mp3 or msp front bumper cover. if you go on car-parts.com, you'll find a few p5 bumpers and MAYBE one msp bumper. but anyway, just get a new one from the dealer. they run $240. dang good price if you ask me. and yes, you can substitute the mp3/msp bumper for your p5 one. the only difference is the lack of the side bumper markers on the p5. the sedans don't have that hole there. good luck.

 

It just seemed to me that there are more people out there advertising the other two types than just regular p5. I guess that could be because they are probably more desireable. Thanks for the info
