folding trunk

i saw a picture of a trunk of a car...but when he had it open, the trunk was still flat/parallel with the roof.

It's a kit you can get from autoloc.com and probably some other places. Works like Lambo doors or suicide doors...you modify the existing hinge mechanism.

I believe one of the guys on this forum has that style trunk on his Protege. I think his name is Shogunprotege.

yeah I asked him about it and I think he said something about he gots some hinges from Home Depot or something like that and it took him a couple hours to do. But $30 bucks is definitely not that bad for something like that

hey look i am famous.. lol i got my car back from mazda today, so tommorow at work i am gonna get detailed pics of it, but i must warn you.. if you dont do it right, u will get rained out..
my design isnt the prettiest either, main reason bieng it isnt painted .. anyways, the how 2 should be done tommorow..
