Depends on who painted it
Some shops have an oven (baking booth) no joke
Or some type of light for spot jobs
If they used either your good to go

so don't park by them. Either that, or follow certain parking rules. Here are mine (if I absolutely have to park by someone):

1) No parking by 2-door cars
2) No parking by anything with rust
3) No parking by minivans
4) No parking by anything with a child seat
5) No parking by cart-returns or handicapped spots
6) No parking by anything with a NASCAR sticker on it.

There are more, but the are the main ones.
very good list. i follow the same and there's reasons for each. the abovementioned fall into three categories: people with big doors that can easily give you a ding if they dont even try, people that have kids that kick open the door on their way out (ouch), and people that don't care about their car (and don't care about yours either).

i have a couple dings, but my car's almost 3 years old. as for handicapped parking and karma, may someone that's handicapped drive in an old rusted cadillac with kids next to you.
