FD Wheels on P5

Title explains it all, my enkei's got ripped off out of my garage a week ago.

I am looking for a decent set of wheels on a budget. I know the 3rd gen Rx-7 wheels fit my 87 rx-7 and through further research my P5 and FC both have 5 x 114 lug pattern so is there any reason why I can't run FD wheels on a Protege 5? Not sure of the offsets for each, but i thought a nice set of used fd wheels powder coated might look pretty sweet on my white P5.

it seems to me the offset difference is 35 for the FD and 40 for my P5....

NO 16x8 that I've seen will fit on a Protege5. I've personally tried to put my FD wheels on my P5 just for laughs, and it wasn't even close. With an FD wheel, the offset was way off, since one car is FWD and one RWD.
17.5 is as wide as you can go, and even that will take like a +48 offset. I have 18x7.5s on my P5 and they barely fit, even with coilovers.

Good luck.
EDIT: Stock P5 wheels are 16x6 +50.

^ You mean 7.5 is as wide as you can go, not 17.5 correct Natey?

Sorry but I have to disagree and here is my proof. It will require some 'tweaking' but they will fit.

lol, shaved the sleeves of his customized AWR coilovers? And he's rubbing on his rolled fenders? With a 575lb springrate? That 's a lot of tweaking.
