Question E-rated headlights

are the P5's headlights E-rated...cause if they are then they will have no problems with HID conversion kits

no, they may have the same(very close to E-Code, would look something like this, __/__/ ) lighting pattern as an E-Code headlight but for other resaions are NOT E-Code lamps

by the way if you are looking for an HID conversion kit PLEASE read this first:
http://lighting.mbz.org/tech/info/bulbs/HID/conversion/

then if you still must: www.autolamps-online.com

unless Mazda has a JDM set of stock HID's you could put on your car

well then I would try to get them, you will get much better performance

granted some of the good HID kits like Phillips can work well but a headlight that was made for HID's will always work better then a conversion kit

ok I must be going crazy but the P5's have a dual beam setup right?, if so an HID conversion might work very well if you take the time to aim it correctly

what about getting a set from a european country where they are LHD (same as us)?

I am sure there is something, and as far as the beams shinning the wrong way I dont think it's too big of a deal just b/c there are many RHD cars in countrys where the standard is LHD and I have never noticed any glare, if there was a big problme you would not be albe to drive them here
example Nissan Skyline, guy down the street from has one and I have never had any probs when it's on the other side of the road
