Dangerous w/out the roofrack?

One More...
I bought my P5 *because* of the roof rack and low stance. I wanted to haul two kayaks. The kayak holders mount to the rack - so all i have to do is pop the covers (that came with the car
) and bolt the rack back on. sweeet.
Yeah, the wind noise is bad with the rack on... SO I HAVE THE *OPTION* TO TAKE 'EM OFF WHEN I AM NORMAL/CRUISIN'.
