cracked fog light cover. replacement?
cracked fog light cover. replacement?
I have an '03 ES and one of my foglights has been taken out be a rock.
It was just cracked for a while, but eventually water got in there and the lamp is shot.
Questions:
1) I shouldn't have a problem ordering a new cover from the dealer. But how to replace it? I'd rather not pay labor. In the manual it says to see dealer for fog light replacement.
2) I was thinking about replacing the fog light bulbs with yellow bulbs (if someone has tried this and it doesnt look gay?) or higher performance bulbs (without risking frying anything). I onnly use my fogs when I'm the only car on a windy road or if it's heavily raining. I'm not one of those ******* who drives with them on all the time.
thanks for the help

You know, there should be an aftermarket source for yellow foglights. Remember that guy who was selling the beautiful P5 on E-bay (and hoping to get 13k for it) with the billet grille, massive stereo, et cetera? He had 'em if I recall. Don't see a dealer unless you are trading in the car on a new Mazda3.
