Clutch noise

I tried searching but I couldn't really find anything that matched what my situation is...

The problem is that when I press the clutch all the way in it makes this noise, like metal hitting metal kinda. So far I have only noticed this when I am at a stand still, the first time I noticed it was when i turned the car on I pressed the clutch all the way in. I haven't noticed it while driving because I don't press the clutch all the way in... I think the other noises from the road would be too loud anyway... The car is running and driving fine so i'm really not sure what the problem is... It doesn't do it every time, I think mostly it does this when i press the clutch in rapidly.

It is a 2000 DX.

any help would be greatly appreciated
Thanks!

How many miles do you have? Do you have any sports pedals attached to your clutch pedal??
