not hard at all theres about 10-12 screws but you have to remember where they go cuz they are different lengths. draw a diagram and take them to the paper where they go is what i did to remeber they went..

How easy is it to remove the valve cover? What are the precautions?

Also, what brand of paint did you use? Autozone has lots of high-temp paints, but any "best" out there?

So what color engine paint should I get? I don't want a fake looking kinda chrome, but I did see some at Wal-Mart a couple days ago. Looks decent, but don't know if I would trust using it. Im thinking I might just go with my first thought and paint my calipers green and valve cover, strut bar, caps and anything else in my bay red. FoxyMazda and me have the same color, year and trim type Protege. Thats the color I have to deal with when it comes to painting.
