Very nice, definitely one of the best valve cover paintings I've seen.

Nice! You might want to put some clearcoat over the bare aluminum on the letters, though, so it doesn't get all dull.

I painted mine then sanded the letters so I could paint them if that counts...

Now that looks very sharp...I'm impressed. I am not very color coordinated personally. With my Sand colored Prot. what color would you paint the calipers and the valve cover? I was thinking blue, but the red started me thinking again. Any suggestions?

I would seriously do them al lsand to match the car. It's never been done before, and there's somethng about a car with matching parts that just looks phat as hell.

Here's my buddy Glen's car (Funky Buddha) that we did this afternoon.

I have an emerald mica green Protege and I was thinking about painting my valve cover and brake calipers. What color would you all recommend? I was thinking about either red for the valve cover (because the Injen CAI filter) and silver for the calipers (because of the wheels) or just painting everything silver. Any other ideas that might look good?
