Check engine light my MP5

Came on at 3200 miles. Just got the car at Christmas. Seems to be running OK.

Anyone with similar? Will be taking it in this week.

Don't overfill the gas tank, that can cause it. Open the cap and replace it. That cleared mine. It happened right after I bought it. A bad batch of gas can do it too.

don't run it too close to empty either. Undo the battery and turn the car to the on position. replace battery cable, if light comes back on take it to a mechanic if it goes out, you hit the rev limiter, too much fuel, too little fuel or some other little problem that set the light off.
