CAI problem

I got an Ebay CAI for my 2001 SE. I installed it and when I'm in 4th or 5th gear and I try to accelerate, it feels like it not getting enough or too much air. If I down shift and accelerate, it will be ok...

A guy told me it not mixing the gas and air correctly??

How can I fix this? Any help would be appreciated...

"a guy" is an idiot. I can't speak intelligently about your problem (neither can your other advisor) without hearing it for myself. I would just recommend to make sure all hoses and sensors are connected properly and the MAF is pointed in the correct direction.
