Question Bumper-to-bumper warranty 4/50k in 2003 vs. 3/50K in 2002

I see the warranty for 2003 Mazdas are now 4 years or 50K miles. I also see that for 2002 it was 3 years or 50K miles. I'm thinking of getting a 2002 due to the 0% 60 month offer. Has Mazda extended the warranty on 2002's as well? Thanks.

I think maybe Mazda will automatically update all the warrenty policy for all 2003 models.
Cause I bought my p5 last month. When I bought it, it was told that my car has the 3 year warrenty too. But last week, the dealer called me and told me Mazda have changed the policy and it's now last 4 years.

Thumbs up Excellent

My own difficulties with my ES Pro notwithstanding, any company that improves their standard warranty is worthy of praise. I think this is an excellent move on Mazda's part! To their credit, this demonstrates they have the ***** to back up their work with more than just colorful commercials speaking of "dependability" (Ehem, like GM does-- Those bloody saps).

I'd get that in writing from them. It'd be my luck that I needed to make a claim after the "original" three year setup only to have it thrown back in my face.

They've changed it to 4 years. You won't get notified on this, you'll need to ask them.

Picking up my 2003 MP5 today. Got it for $16,263 US with 0% and paid the extra $1000 for a 7 year/100,000 mile warranty. Sound right?
