Its true that they arent the best, I would rate them "OK"
They certainly are not good at high speeds.

Around 70-80 or anywhere in that area.

Plus in the rain the brakes SQUEEK like crazy.

Man what's on the go with your brakes? Just FYI, they shouldn't be doing that.

Yeah mine squeek in the rain or when its wet out.
Do you know what might be causing this???

Maybe this is why I think the proteges brakes are so bad then.
Mine might be broken.

That's definately something to check out. The only time I've had brakes that squeal that much is when the pads are worn out and the metal wear indicator is contacting the rotor.

when was the last time you changed your rotors? I thought my brakes sucked too. I would press the brake to the floor and it would pulsate. So i took it up to midas. And the guy said my rotor were warped.
