Oh I am sure of it. I mean from a management standpoint, not a rational understanding of what should and should not be. Especially when someone looks only on the surface of things, which is all most people see and know about a car.

And I have an appointment for 9:30 for the clutch chatter and the hub painting this morning.

Okay. My brakes on my car SQUEEL like a pig all the time. Now given that over nite rust occurs, shouldn't it rub off the first few times that i brake? However, after i've driven it for a whole day, when i brake lightly going between 5-10km/hr it still squeels and squeeks. WHY? I've only got 19000 km and it's been doing this for the past 10,000 kms. What's up with that? Brake dust? Rotor alignment?

Squealing is usually brake dust.
Occasionally, overheating the pads a few times will also "glaze" them and the rotors (kinda like a burning or melting of the surfaces) - this can reduce the braking ability, and can also lead to squealing.
Your squealing probably has nothing to do with rust - but is just brake dust.

brake dust ALL the time?
when i went for my service with my previous honda civic, they took apart my front disk brakes and cleaned it out (as PART of the servce). It didn't squeel after all the way until i traded it in.
I asked Mazda if they could do the same thing and they said they won't since it's JUST brake dust. I don't hear my friends Pro5 squeel ever!
