You know whats even worse...Going to look at the car after work one night & ending up falling in love with it & working out the details to drive it off the lot. But, the Mazda financing office is closed so based on the dealers finance expert saying he "thinks" your credit will be ok, they'll let you drive it home (and its a holiday weekend so the finance office wont be open for 3 more days). But...if Monday comes & the finances are refused, you have to return the car!!! Talk about hard. Luckily Monday came & no call from Mazda USA asking me to return "their" car!!

that would suck......you would show everyone your 'new' car and then come monday, everyone would think you are the biggest liar ever....that would be the harshest thing ever....lol

Financing? Why didn't you just write them a check?

Because the financing was low enough that I'll be paying about 600 total on finance charges. I can make more than that by putting the money in a savings account!!

Talking Nothing like a Black P5

I'm financing mine, not thrilled what they gave me for my trade, but pretty damn happy that I got to the monthly payment and financing I could afford and without a ton of game playing and posturing.

Enjoy that Black Mica beauty !

I dunno, i have some crap in my credit history that looks like its effecting the decision. i'm trying another dealer but i also looked at a different make and model car today and i should be able to get a killer deal on it. i wont disclose what it is, but its not a Japanese import.

My credit history isn't the greatest either but I played hard ball and got what I wanted without a credit check. Wish I had done it now, I might have gotten a even lower rate

My credit rating had junk in it over the last few years, but I have spent a great amount of time cleaning it up over the past two years and to make matters "worse" I am self employed and at the time I got the car only for about 4 months, it took Mazda Credit 3 days to approve me in part because they didn't bother to call my main source of income that I contract for on a regular basis so I guess they decided to give me the lease based on my sparkling record with my last lease on my 97 SHO. I even got the going rate for Interest which as to be the first time in a very long time!
