Which are the better springs?

Which springs are better to put on the 1.6l protege?
The Tein S Tech or the Tein H Tech?
Also, does the size of the engine contribute to which type of spring to use?

Your choice
S tech = 5cm drop
H tech = 2.5cm drop

The H techs I believe have a higher spring rate and are more suited for the track. S techs are just to the floor for style.

The H Tech might be better suited for me here in trinidad since the roads are **** for drivin' and lowering your car just for style aint worth it unless you have a show car...which still isn't worth it here in trinidad, imho.

A guy told me that the H techs are better for the p5 (wagons here in trinidad since we have no p5's) since they are a heavier car and that the S Techs are better suited for the sedans.

Also with what you said:

I might as well just stick with the H Techs.
Now I don't carry the car on the tracks or anything but I do drive like I'm on the tracks sometimes and I'm more of a performance guy than a style guy.

but the same guy also said that I may have a bouncier ride with the H Techs than with the S Techs.

Any ideas on this?
I'd hate to have a bouncy ride

Yes you will. H-techs are stiffer, so you're gonna bunce more than s-techs. Have you looked into H&R? I bought a set of those for my P5 back in the day and was pretty impressed.

If you have the shocks youll be fine. It would be bouncier at stock levels.

Yeah well I have the tokico shocks, so I should be fine and the car shouldn't bounce as much then.

I just have to install them though.
