Another satisfied P5 owner
Hey everyone!
My name's dru. I'm 25 and live in Ottawa, Canada. After having owned a 1992 Protegé SE for 4 years, I decided it was time to upgrade. I almost bought a 2002 ES with the GT package (rear discs, sunroof, a/c). Luckily, I found a great deal on a used classic red P5 with the same options and a set of winter tires on rims. Needless to say, I snapped it up!
I gotta say, I am a very happy man! What a great little car! Handles like a dream but is nice and sporty too. I'm having a couple small issues:
1. The alignment is a little off. I'm taking it in to see if I can get it done under warranty. (It was bought at Argus for those of you around Ottawa.)
2. The sunroof squeaks when closed. Has anyone else noticed this or found a fix? It sounds almost like it isn't closing properly. I think I'll get them to take a look at it also.
3. One of the key fobs took a swim with the original owner. I fixed it but it seems to use batteries rather quickly. Not too sure what I can do about this though.
What I need from you creative types is some ideas for names... I'm a little stuck!

welcolm to are little corner of the net......there is a growing protege club in ottawa so check out the regional section for meets and i hope you enjoy your P5 as much as the rest of us!

Glad to hear you like your ride! As Nightowl mentionned, you should check the Ottawa Protege meets sometimes. We're just starting, but it's getting there
