Air filter

Quick question are the air filters the same size on the Protege 5 and the Protege sedan for 2002? i want to buy the K&N filter but they only show the Protege not the Protege 5.
By the way at www.performanceintl.com they are selling the filters for 29.95 and free shipping.

For future reference, every engine, suspension and transmission-related part of your P5 is exactly the same as the Protege ES sedan except for the strut brace. So yes, the filter will fit.

Except for the exhaust - the P5 is shorter from the axle to the bumper than a sedan, so some exhaust components (like mufflers, cat-back or axle-back aftermarket systems, etc.) are not interchangeable with the sedans.

Other than that, the P5 is mechanically identical to the sedan, as stated above by carguycw.
