I prefer the front end of the '99 better. When the '01 came out, I thought they copied the Honda Civic's, and was NOT impressed at ALL. I've come to somewhat get use to it, but I love the '99 front end much better.

Although I do like the headlights on the '01, much better, but I think mine will look good, once I get the Clear Corners.

I just think that the '99 front end, looks somewhat more MEANER, with the 2 support bars... and it can hold a nice grill too =)

90&00 Protege: I like your fog lights. They were charging around $350cdn once I got my '99, so I said forget it, and got some Pilot Fog Lights, which I am SOOOOOO much more happier with, because I can control the angle of them. The only garbage thing, is the metal they used, and its KINDA startin to rust, but I'll take care of that in the spring with some new paint.

What i like about the 99-00:
-Orange corners can be replaced
-Fog light placement, ie: lower grill looks better

Dislike:
-Headlights
-Chrome on black Mazda emblem grill lining

What i like about the 01-02:
-Headlights
-Flying M
-Possibility to upgrade to the P5 bumper

Dislike:
-Lower bumper
-Fog lights look like crap
