60000k service / injectors cleaned?

i know, i know.. my pro is racking up the mileage

after i took the car for its 60thou service..the rang me back wanting to know if i wanted my injectors cleaned out for an extra $99 aus..i guess about $60 u.s.

is this worth it? i told them not to do it..as i wanted to see if i could get this done cheaper and if the car really needs it..or if it was another money making scheme by my local dealer..what do you guys think?

Just put injector cleaner in the gas tank.

Their high pressure cleaning can damage the injectors.

dealer injector cleaning is much better then anything you can pour out of a bottle. $60 is not that much (although it costs them less than $20)
it is not a high pressure system, they generally run at normal fuel pressure with a special solvent for your fuel system.
