2003 p5 Questions

I have a 2003 p5 3 months Old not much Mileage on it yet, to things that just started happening, the first one is the brakes make noise the first few min of driving after that there fine, is that Normal? I hope not, the second thing I just noticed is that when I have the car in park and start it up and Pump the brakes I hear a clicking noise from the gear shifter area, I have a Manu mantic is it called and it does not make the noise when in gear just in park.

i dunno about the brakes but the clicking you hear when you pump the brakes is the shift lock releasing

I found this on the brakes tsb,

Some customers may experience rear brake noise and/or dragging rear
brake pads due to the accumulation of rust on the rear brake mounting
supports.

Repair Procedure
When you encounter this concern, replace rear brake pads with improved
parts and remove rust from caliper supports. The brake pads have been
modified to increase the clearance between pads and mounting supports
from 0.15-0.80 to 0.32-0.8 New Part No. BKYT-26-43ZB (Rear Brake Pads with Hardware)

Model Starting S/N Ending S/N
2001 PROTEGE 10000001 30154188
2002 PROTEGE 10000001 30154188
2003 PROTEGE 10000001 30154188

Question is that the s/n of the part ? or car to find out if I can get that Repair done, thanks again
