I'd like to know if Cam Gears exist on a 99 Protege? I know they exist on the 1.8 and the 2.0.

Just for those people looking for a short ram for their 99 1.6 protege: Weapon R short ram is cool and will gain much more power with the car. I was frustrating finding an intake for the car but finally i did with Weapon R. I hear about injen being a total failure and is really expensive. I got my RARE intake for 200 and it's pretty satisfying. Sorry I don't have a picture of it but i should have it posted up soon if anyone is interested.

is the particurlar ram intake u got specific for the 1.6l..or is it a generic fit??
