12V outlet light

12V outlet light

I noticed that there is an orange ring around the cigarette lighter outlet, though no light when the dash is illuminated. Should there be a light there that needs replaced? This is one small detail I haven't paid much attention to.

nope no light shines through it i checked that one long ago. cus the old proteges used to have a light there. they just musta gotten rid of it.
