whats my prob blew tranny now!!:(

yup on wed night in VA. i was doing about 55 MPH on some twisty roads just crusing not winding her out or anything. and all of the sudden boom crack clang clang, pulled off and shut her down right away. thought it might have been a blown tire. but no all the tires had air. i look up the road and sure enough gear lub for about 50 yards. then she smoked and the engine went up in flames. just my luck, so i said F*CK it let the F*CKER burn. mind you this is 1 engine and 2 heads later, now the f-in tranny! WTF
so she is burning im loving it and at 2 in the morning i dont expect anyone to drive by. but with my great luck a F*CKing super good semaritin with a fire exstingusher put it out. so now i dont know if they are going to fix it under warrenty or not. god i hope so, everyone please cross some fingers for me thanks for the vent, i am once again carless and now i know my MP3 has more miles on a trailer than on the road. lol

yeah i think i might go look at them. Mazda said that if it is not covered under waranty the tranny alone is going to be about 7500 that f*cking rediculous. if i had that money i would pay the damn thing off and get the van. well more info to come thanks for the support.

7500 for a tranny that sells for 1100 new. I think mazda is pulling a fast one over your head.

Although with the engine and all the wires burned up. That sucks ***. Also I must ask do you have full insurance on your car. Because if you do then you could probably get it covered under electrical fire for all the fire damage. A used tranny shouldn't set you back much more than a grand to 1200 installed by a pro.

Also if mazda refuses to warranty don't let them lay another hand on fixing the car. Deal with a real shop that doesn't hire a bunch of monkey wrenchers.
