I did send you that extra $100. :) Most of it was to cover my fluids though. ^_^ :tit:

What does this mean for the WOMP users? More air at the same boost level. Denser air (colder) charge even with higher boost levels. NO MORE POWER LEVEL CEILINGS.

The Bd600 would be good for about 300whp....the new BD-11A will handle anything you can throw at it. Also Powerdyne says the BD-600 is good for 12-13psi max and the BD-11A is good for about 15psi max... 3psi doesn't sound like much but it's another 125cfm which is about 50whp (give or take)

MMMM....Donu...no, wait...MMMMMM, even more possible power! Sounds sweet, so how many actual kits have you sold/gotten the money for so far? And everything as far as the ordering is going through protege garage right?

The ATF fluid was $84+tax...the extra $12 or so I had left I spent on crack rock and my baby momma's

The only money's I've received so far are for the sponsored kits which are being used to test the different fueling systems and transmission types. Once i get results and dyno's back from them everything will go on public sale...all of which are handled through Protegegarage.com

which reminds me.. I have to set up an appt with the only dyno in the state..

One more question. I am considering building a SC setup for my Mazda 3 2.3L. I was wondering, would the blower you are talking about, the BD-11A, will that work well on that motor? I am looking to go with the most cost effective method, and powerdyne just seems to be the perfect solution.
I'm looking to get *around* 240 whp and at least 225 wtq. I will have this as my daily driver and would like a lot of the tq to be down low, while still not putting to much strain on the engine. Any help is much appriciated.

centrifugal blowers like mine dont seem to add much torque and are a little more difficult to package in that car due to space available. Your best bet is to wait and see if Jackson Racing makes a small eaton blower off the intake manifold or just buy the Hiboost turbo kit.

Engine stable as a rock again?

almost! still fighting with that rear mount...not having a paved driveway is making it fvery difficult for me to get under the car now that it's the rainy season.

I know exactly what you are talking about, rotated my tires over the weekend, jack kept sinking :red:

Nice to hear about your WOMP project coming along, Roddimus. Congratulations. Sorry to hear about your mishap though. Like the guys said, don't let it get to you, this is all part of the fun.

It sounded to me you are having tuning problems, which is surprising to me, considering the expensive Haltech system you are using. It took me about three weeks to get my S/C system tuned right, but once you're there, you will know it, believe me! However, the only thing I need to tune is how much fuel and at what RPM the two extra fuel injectors need to inject.

Did I understand correctly that you are using your car's stock injectors, only with the Haltech?

Meanwhile, I have upgraded my 1.6L ZM-DE (remember?) with rear disc brakes (very good improvement), and I have installed a 1.5mm head gasket to bring down the compression so I can remove the restrictor. I am now boosting at 12psi with no detonation and the result was awesome.

By the way, I couldn't find my old post about the 1.6L S/C project. Was it deleted or something, and am I still welcome here?

Congrats again for the determination and good work,
MOTA MAZDA :bt:

I haven't moved or deleted any threads. You're always welcome here dude. I don't have any tuning problems with the haltech. My baseline numbers are all without "final tuning"...meaning I haven't spent hours on the dyno getting everything dialed in just right. If I did that Id probably cvome up with another 10-20whp at the same boost level. What I've decided to do is leave my map as-is for the time being and add more boost to it since it's running SO rich. With my new larger blower and this excess of fuel I should be well over the 225whp mark on stock injectors.

With your 1.6L engine you should be able to make 300whp very safely. I'm sure 12psi is nuts on that car seeing as how it made less than 100hp stock. It's gotta be a new monster. You're going to run an additonal injector set-up on your car? Thats a good way of doing it. Make sure your new injectors are BIG though. BIG BIG BIG and you have a MASSIVE fuel pump 255lph should do fine. You'll need enough pressure to max out your stock injectors and 2 additonal 550cc's. 18-20psi on a fuel pump should be more than enough. I'd love to run my blower on your engine since it's so large...I bet 400whp would be EASY!!
