Unhappy uhhh wtf!?

Im not sure, this is my 1st 5 Speed, '02 Pro5. but i think i just blew out my clutch

I was racing my friend in his Hatch and after we raced, I was driving like normal and then my car wouldnt go into 5th, I was in 4th, so I pull over to the left lane to pull into a parking lot and when i put it into 1st i give it gas and nothing my car didnt move, the engine revved, but no movment , so i tried 2nd gear, nothing, 3rd gear the car starts moving, finally get it into the lot, and sit there

I couldnt get my car towed by Mazda Roadside Assitance cuz then the dealer will void my warranty, i think, I have an NX Kit, fity shot, I got it Friday, been spraying since Sat AM (15.4 @ 90MPH , WOOOOOO!), today is Wednesday Night, btw.

So i drove my car home in 3rd with a horrid smell of clutch i believe it is.

but, somethings i noticed, i can put it in 1st and 2nd, but the car doesnt move, I cant leave it in nuetral without holding the clutch pedal down or the engine dies, 5th - no dice, Reverse - nothing either, but I CAN drive the car in 3rd and when im driving it, without hold the clutch pedal down, i can throw the shifter back and forth from 3rd to 4th even put in neutral and its still in gear somehow.

Is my clutch fried????

anyone recommend a good clutch? Im gonna end up spraying about 100+ btw

oh yeah and does B&M make a short shifter for my car?

sounds to me like you blew your tranny to bits. if it was your clutch, none of your gears would work, not even third. also, when you say you have to have the clutch pedal in while the car is in nuetral or it will stall. if it was your clutch, it wouldn't make any difference whether the pedal was pushed in or not.

njaremka is right you're tranny's gone.

From what you described. Sounds like it's stuck in gear.

Pull out all evidence of the N2O and call roadside and get it towed to the dealer. Maybee you might be lucky.

Might be your whole tranny, might just be your shift linkage... The piece that connects the shifter to the tranny might have come loose... meaning your tranny works, but you have know physical way to switch the gears.

BTW... if you're starting out in 3rd gear, your going to be riding the clutch an aweful lot just to keep from stalling. A perfectly good clutch would stink to high heaven under those conditions.

You'll really actually have to take it apart to see. That is really the only way to survery how much damage is done.

And if you are going to run a 100+ shot of nitrous then it doesn't matter anyways as you're going to blow your whole engine to sh*t. On stock internals our engines can't take that much.

FUBAR

And you said you're going to run a 100shot? Seems like you haven't learned your lesson. Either that or mommy and daddy are paying for it all.

Yep, bent or broken shift fork. You should learn how to finesse the shifter rather than force it if you don't want to find yourself in this predicament again.

What are you doing racing someone in your brand new car, and learning how to drive a 5-speed at the same time??

You should get a beater car to learn to drive before you waste all that money.

I have to agree "SilverProtege5". My first stick car was a 86 VW gti. And I blew the clutch on it but only cost me 500 to fix. Then I learned how to drive. Couldnt see my self spending 500 dollars every time I wanted to shift gears. And if more people learned how to drive then I wouldnt have a wrecked front end.
