99 protoge with 73, 000km. Car runs fine except when I come to a stop when it will stall, this does not happen all the time but recently more often. I've changed the ERG valve chnaged but it still does it. Its starts easily after stalling. No vacuum leaks either. Any ideas?

 

1. Bad oxygen sensor?

2. If you have cruise, try disconnecting the vacuum hose from it. This once did the trick on my dad's 87 Topaz.
