But yea, it'll be cool to see everybody's proteges.
are you going Essedan01?
Yeah, I'll be there. For one reason, I am considered as a rookie to the club and it would be nice to finally put some faces to the names. As well I want to see the other member's rides! Try to make if you can.

ohhh... the way the guy said it sounded like he was pushing it at 4000....... with a 6500 redline 4000 should be normal driving......

haha, well i drive an auto, so I have no problems with the shifting. I guess I could leave my foot on the pedal a little longer. So you guys seriously shift at 4000? I heard 2800 - 3200 is a good shift point so as not to stress the engine. But are you guys saying if I continuously shift at 4000 for the next ten or so year my engine will last that long? Well the thing is I also go to redline at least once a week... I know it's not cool to stress the engine for no good reason, but i just can't resist... I need help...

I heard that is not good shifting around 4k I normally shift between 3k and and 3 1/2 k. But when someone is in front of me and they are driving below the speed limit, I first downgear and take all the way to 10,000 Jk. I just feel that 4k is too much in the car unless you have like an acura rsx that has a redline of I think 7k or higher.

4000 on a 5-speed won't hurt anything and it isn't stressful to the engine. It's different on an auto, so you should try to keep revs a little lower...

Really? I didn't know that... Why does that difference exist between the automatic and the five speed?
