Question Question MP5 Sport Auto owners.

my wife and i are getting a MP5 with the sport auto transmission this week. i was wondering from current sport auto owners have you had any problems with it, cause it just cameout not too long ago. what's mazda's track record with the engine and transmission?

also is it worth getting mazdas' extended warranty? this would be a our first mazda and we've driven nothing but toyotas'.

I thought "MP5"s were auto already... so now they just added a "sport" trigger?

I didn't know mazda made guns

I've got about 13000 miles on my P5 sport-auto and have had no problems. Personally, I love it. It was a great compromise between me and the missus. It makes regular driving easy and it's great for passing on the highway or pulling quick U-ies and stuff like that. The only fault I have with it is that sometimes going from 1st-2nd I'll hit it at about 5000 and it doesn't shift in time to avoid red lining. But like an old time member of this forum says "If you ain't hitting the limiter, then you ain't buzzing"
