OBX cat-back for Pro5?

A local shop in my town has been on the lookout for a cat-back for my Pro5. He recently told me that OBX has one for $325. This is much better than the Skunk2 price tag. I was wondering if anyone has seen or heard anything about this. I'm not too familiar with OBX's exhausts.

you got a better link? I think that is the mazda sport exhaust and that's definetly not a catback.

They also have a header on the way, I called them up and they said the header would take 3 months.

actually skunk2 aint that bad i was quoted $550 from 2 places that are authorized skunk2 dealers. as far as obx i used to have one of their universial mufflers on my crx and it was total ****! i ripped it off and sold it to some ricer with an accord for $75 and bought a flowmaster.

the system on mazdaspeed.com for 195 is an axel back...NOT a cat back system...

ZoomGrl....have you looked at the Bosal system? its about the same price you were quoted for the OBX....I have one and love it...its polished Stainless Steel from front to back...the tone is NOT that of a can of bumble bees all pissed off....and it looks very nice....the fit and finish I am very pleased with.

I do believe they are on back order from the factory right now till about august, that is what I hear anyway. you could always check into it.

I got mine at Protege5Online.com

LOL well believe me...if they were cat back systems and for $195 and IF they were any good...the would be going out the door faster than you could count them!

the mazdaspeed ones are very similar to the SPORT muffler you can get at the dealer.

Vibrant... That is a lot better than the price I've been getting on the Skunk2. I was hearing around $700. Maybe I need to check somewhere else. Thanks for your opinion in the OBX though. I think someone in my town is ordering it so I am curious to see, and hear, it when it gets here.

sir Nuke... I have heard good things about the Bosal. My only problem is I have heard about it being on backorder and I was worried about having it in time for Nopi Nats in Atlanta in September. August is cutting it pretty close. In my experience with ANY car parts, you can never expect to get things when they tell you that you will.

Any other suggestions?
