Noise at idle

I installed my PRM Intake yesterday, and I absolutly love it. Gettin the silicon tubing on the MAS was a total bitch though and no check engine light so I was happy. However, I noticed at idle, if I let it sit for a few seconds, I hear this sorta tap tap sound, its not metalic, it sound more like something on a belt going around and around. When I give it a little gas it will go away, but if i let it sit a little it will come back. Does anyone know what this could be?

You know I tried that, but when I did I could swear it went away, or the engine noise just overpowered what I heard inside the car, even though you would think that because i could hear it in the car it must be pretty loud. I dunno, I will try and listen better later.

while you are looking under the hood WATCH real close....could it be that at idle your NEW part is moving to the vibration of the engine and tapping on something its close to? and of course as rev's increase everything smooths out and it doesn't shake anymore making the noise you heard go away.....seeing as how this appeared RIGHT AFTER you did a mod....concentrate on that first. it may be something as simple as an interference or close fit between two parts.
