well some people have no faith in money and time, with money and time you can do anything, yes i am 16, no i do not know alot about turbo set ups, but about the 3.0 swap, it is totaly possible....i work at a shop, i also drive an 1987 toyota pickup, that has a small *** engine bay too, but my shop put a frame from a 4wd S10 in it and we put a vortec 454 CID in it.....and if i can squeeze a 454 into a truck that has a stock 2.5 SOHC in it i can sure as hell put a 3.0 in a protege, and anyways....i changed my mind with the engine swap...i picked up a cheap ford probe gt, that v6 is gonna go into the protege...then i will worry about turbo/supercharger.....but i do thank you guys for properly flaming me and telling me why the TT 1.6 is stupid....i will stop with the revolutionary ideas...i am sorry.......oh and i finnally raced my protege saturday....stomped a civic on the interstate...well im gonna go again....i dont know when ill be on again.....im not on the internet much

bwahahahahahahaha!!! lol a KL-01 in a Protege !!a Major company with a BIG budget(Corksport) barely was able to fit a BP in a protege, but you and your little shop is going to fit a KL-01 AND turbo it ??? Sure. And the TT on a 1.6L IS stupid, not revolutionary. What Juan did is revolutionary. Oh wait here's a revolutionary Idea, I'm gonna make a Chevy 350 V8 swap kit for 3rd gen protege's !! I will, just watch ! All you need to beleive me is that I keep insisting it can be done.

how many times have we heard some 16yr old kid get on here and say "money is no object"? I might've been more prone to believing this stupid thread if you actually had SOME car knowledge kid but this is plain ridiculous.

Just for kicks though why don't you post some pics of your supercool Toyota with a chevy "frame" and 454 big block in it. I'll get a kick out of hearing your excuses of why you can't post a picture.

well im sorry...i thought this site was to HELP other protege entusiast......but i guess not....guess it doesnt matter that im out of highschool, have a full time job, and have ideas to make my protege faster...cause im am NOT impressed with the stock 1.6.....i mean....it can beat civics....but what cant? it doesnt matter that ived worked in a shop for 4 yrs...i guess i still have no knowledge of cars....what makes a car special anyway??? im serious...do people with nothing but a bolt on turbo kit get into mags??? no it is the person who does an amazing engine swap, and modifies it to the extreme, but i cant do that, cause you guys say i cant, i guess my muscle car freinds were right, tuners are cynical ********, and i will do what i want to do with my car, whether you guys say its impossible or not, so in short...**** you guys, if your happy with your proteges mediocore stock motors....fine, im not, i will refrain from posting on here anymore, i just cant wait till someone does what i said, and you guys see what retards you are......"oh no, someone has an idea i didnt think possible, lets flame him" dicks

no way, let him stay!! I wanna see pics of his truck he's lying about!! This guy has been working on cars since before he had pubes. He has to be a plethora of car knowledge even though he knows NOTHING about cars.

Funny, I always thought the guys in the mags were the mega-ricers with over-done bodykits, lime green paint, wheels tucked into the wells, and chrome engine bays.
