Need some info on the clutch

My only question is about how many miles is the Act clutch good for will it outlast the stock disc?

i would assume that this all depends on your driving style. if you drive hard and slip the clutch a lot when shifting, then probably not as long as you'd like.

you can go with the 2600lb but beware cause you will grab gears ike a ****. the 2600 will last good and long. it made 70 track passes one of which was an 11.9 in my elcipse before it showed signs of needing replaced, add that on street driving. what turbo are you getting case you might not want the 2600 if you are only plannign on putting down like180hp. 2600 may be to much

I basically want about 180 at the wheels and I want the best clutch that will last on the street and lots of racing. But it is my dayly driver.

i would go with the 2100lb because the pedal pressure will suck for a daily driver. 2100 will last good and long since you wont have a high HP car

ok, I think I have decided to go with the act 2100, and the 15 lb fly wheel from mazda motorsports. Where can I get that flywheel I cant find it on the sight. Or any of there products for that matter. And I want to do it myself so if anyone has very detailed directions on changing a clutch on a 3rd Gen I would very much appritiate it if you could post them or PM me the instructions so I dont brake anything. I am going to go and buy an air system becuase I figure if I spend $400.00 labor I should just spend 300 for a system to do it myself. thanks for the help And instructions!

If you can't find the flywheel from Mazda Motorsports, check out www.corksport.com

They have the Mazdaspeed lightweight flywheel and tons of knowledge.

Good Luck!
