Need help taking off rear taillights.

Yo guys I know this is probably easy but would like to have an idea of what to take off instead of just start to take off items. Well if anyone can help with a how to I would appreciate it.

Protege? Just peel back the liner in the trunk. There are 3 nuts that need to be unscrewed.

Then just pull the light out. There is a plastic clip dealy that holds it as well, so you will likely need to give it a good tug.

Protege5 and it's basically the same jazz, except that you don't need to remove any interior panels. There are circular plastic covers, as well as the plastic cover for the jack, that need to be removed. Then you can access the 3 (10mm I think, though maybe 8mm) nuts that have to be removed with a deep socket.

i just did this a couple of days ago (to get rid of my ricey lights). my msp has 2 "screw" type cargo net holders @ top that need to come off, 6-7(?) plastic doohicky things that need to come out, and the it "pops" up, give it a good tug, then lean foward towards front of car (there are 2 little "tabs" that attached where the spare tire cover attaches. Then its 3 10mm(IIRC) nuts like J-Protege said, then twist take out all the lights

Which rice lights were you sporting before? Did you just put the stockers back on?

Tinited stockers are quite nice actually. I have the ones for sale on ProtegeGarage from Ken. The ones that are red, but clear front lens; kinda like stock, looks like something that would ship from the factory. I just hated the reflector placement on the stockies.

These are my faves for altz:

See how the lens is clear, rather than the opaque plastic in the eBay ones, makes it much nicer looking IMO. Ken sells em here:
