i got it on Friday and installed it on Saturday morning, It only took about 45 minutes incluting taking off the right passengers rear wheel and ZIp boom Bang it was on and it was like i had a new car. I had a hard time getting out of the car i cruzed all day long and all the next day. It totally adds to the cars look sound and feel! I am Formally forming a Pro5 club here in Hawaii and regestering it with the US car club association.

Re: Mazdaspeed Exhaust Sound Clips / Pics Here!

I took these in my garage with a laptop, and windows sound recorder. The sound is distorted at times from the high-amounts of bass produced. Only hearing it in person will do them justice. If you don't have a good sub for your PC, you're really missing out on the sound. The hissing at the end is from my Injen intake. I think it's just the air rushing out of the piping upon shutdown.

For pics fo the exhaust, click here.

For the sound clips, (thanks to Protetype for the space :p ) look below:

Max love the pics and the sound. I already have an exhaust system but I am interested in changing it. I have replaced everything else with 2.25" stainless and went with a high flow cat. The problem is that the pieces that were used to put the existing muffler (which is also aftermarket) do not fit quite right and the muffler hangs down a bit. Looks ok, but I like the look of the mazdaspeed better. I think that I will go with the mazdaspeed or the HKS. Could you tell me where you purchased the exhaust, and what was the cost?

catchme July-3rd-2002 10:51 PM

that's an amazing price, i'll go check out my dealer tomorrow, with my luck they will probably charge me 400-500$CND those cheap bastards.

thanks

jaisai01 July-3rd-2002 10:56 PM

i paid 185 for mine at the dealer

tradr July-3rd-2002 11:59 PM

the reason it's made in south africa is, tah-dah.. it's made by bosal, who is out of south africa.. they oem all the exhausts for our mazda proteges (I know it says mazdaspeed but I'm guessing the tip is only mazdaspeed's design)

nice exhaust for a good deal, whew i wouldnt mind having that over my standard bosal full exhaust system.. :D

twotone July-4th-2002 02:42 AM

yea !!!

yep i got it for only 150.00 cause i had a hookup at the dealership

Ok so i just posted picts of the exhaust the night it came in.
