MAX wHP 2.0l

hey here's a question ...for no real reason..
whats the biggest wHP numbers anyone has seen from a dyno?

and i don't care how the dyno gets the numers and all that
...i'm just wondering who's seen the baddest 2.0l protege

shoot i'll even start 2001 2.0l lx 100whp 113 ftlbs (beat that... lol)

I think MPNick on the other forum posted a dyno chart for a 401whp prtoege...total cost to build was in the tens of thousands though....he fails to mention that part.

I know "Focus" made 386whp on his...

I'll go out on a limb and say I have the most powerful supercharged 2.0L protege at 160whp!

yeah, you can't beat a turbo for most peak power.

lol sorry about that I'll be glad too..

First of it's a MSP I'll start with that...
Modifications from Stock:
custom SRI
HIBOOST - FMIC
Relocated MAF to right before throttle body and after blow off valve so capable open vent system.
Unichip + Boost Controller (10 PSI)
2.5 Midpipe no Cats
9lb Flywheel

I'll have to see some dyno's on that one man..... I've been in a unichip car on 10psi with a fmic and it was nowhere near 260whp because my 160whp car would keep up with it and even pull it in 1st and 2nd gear.

I've got a friend here "TitaniumMSP" and we're doing very similar mods on his car as we speak so I'll be sure to dyno his car for you also to show you what they typically make. I'm estimating his car will make about 170-180whp on 7psi and about 200-210whp on 10psi.

yah I'll have to go and scan my dyno sheet when I get a free moment here at work.. Believe me I understand the skepticism.. I couldn't believe it either....

edit: the only thing I will say however, is that I've had the Unichip retuned to support my mods... so it's all running the way it should

your only REAL mods that would affect the turbo or ecu are the SRI (ver minimal gain) and exhaust. The FMIC will help keep temps in check a little better but the most I've ever seen recorded from a FMIC upgrade was the BEGi fmic on a MSP and it made 22whp @ 10psi.

I'm not hating on you Im just skeptical. We've had a lot of people show up, make big claims and never back them up.

Explain further???

BOVs are BAD with an MAF system.
