Intake, your uptake...

http://www.sunridgemazda.com/HotDeals.cfm
They're selling this intake at a dealership near my house.
I'm wonderin if it's a good intake or not, and if anyone could give me a guide on how to install it. Actually, all I'm not all that concerned about the performance from the intake, I just want that nice growl when I step on it. So if anyone can give me a overview of the installation, that would really help.

I had that one on my car... i am from Edmonton, and you can get that EXACT same one at a store called JB's power for 110... the brand name is RACTIVE... you save 20 bucks.. and install it yourself... it is sooooo simple... and yes, those are the same ones pretty much as the ebay ones.... the one the mazda dealer has is just a red dyed paper filter.... some guys on ebay are selling those wiht a kn filter... i think you are better off getting the kn filter because they are that much better...

installation is monkey proof... just remove all of the black piping you see on your car that is connectedt to your air filter... as you go through it you will see every little bolt and screw... the only thing you keep are the MAF (airflowsensor.. the guy with the blue dot) and a temperature sensor located in the filter box... then put together the intake and bolt it on... you will ahve to make a little bracket with one of the pieces they give you... bend it into an L shape you you can tie a part of the new intake piping on it.... i will try and post a pic of one if i can find one... or if anyone else has one lets help this dude out.
